The SLYO team partnered with Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission- Shepherd’s House for our annual “Adopt a Family” event on December 17th, 2022. We were fortunate to have the support of Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Ms. Guttierez and Family, and the Chi Omega Society of Cal Poly, which allowed us to provide gifts for over 20 children, making it a Christmas for the families to cherish. The children were delighted to receive their presents from Santa Claus and their parents enjoyed various goodies. The event was made even more special by the distribution of hot chocolate and donuts, creating a heartwarming and festive atmosphere for everyone involved. We are grateful to our sponsors and everyone who participated in making this event a success.
