ORA VI: On October 14th SLYO and Rise to Lead joined together to provide 400 backpacks with school supplies to youth in Oxnard, CA at “Noche de Cultura que Cura”, an event put together by Child Development Resources. There was music, Mariachi, Folklorico, resources, and a pop up vaccination station! Children were able to get ready for “back-to-school” season with their protection against COVID-19 & school supplies!
